Hello,I wanted to install Windows XP Pro on my USB thumb Drive: SanDisk 16GB Cruzer Blade.I have original copy of windows xp with its product key. I want that I can run XP on any computer within my hand.Can this be done?:Insert the Windows XP Install Disc and your USB drive in your PC.Now boot from the CD and go through the install process.When we come to the drive/format section (where we format partition and select which partition windows should be installed)In there, the setup should show my USB drive, I'll select it and format using NTFS File System (as usual) and the setup will install the Windows on my USB drive. And when I would like, I can boot into windows XP???Is this possible?Or suggest any way to do this.Any Help?

I do not want to install windows xp from flash drive. Where as, I wanted to install Windows XP itself into a Flash Drive.You can, but as you may understand, the bootable drive will only be suitable for your PC, as you will boot from it from other systems, you will have to install all drivers again manually for each system.What you can do.atleast some PC experts use it to repair broken PC's, check out a bootable Linux OS specificly for USB. But booting from a USB is all that, its about fixing stuff.May i ask why you want to boot from USB?
